M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

Oven Temp: 350℉
Time: 15 min prep, 10 min bake
Ingredients:
- 1 c. salted butter
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/4 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 10.5 oz pkg. M&M's candies
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light an fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and then mix in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Add in the flour and then, once combined, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough into 2 tbsp. sized mounds and place eight of them on each baking sheet. Bake the cookies for 11-13 minutes until the edges are golden brown. As soon as the cookies come out of the oven press 6-8 M&M's into the top of each cookie. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
