Chocolate Chip Blueberry Cookies

Chocolate Chip Blueberry Cookies

Yield: ~2 dozen
Oven Temp: 350℉
Time: 15 min prep, 10 min bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. salted butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 3/4 c. semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. dried blueberries

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl (or the bowl of a stand mixer) cream together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and then mix in the vanilla, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. You can skip the spices or add more depending on your preferences.
  4. Mix in the flour and then fold in the chocolate chips and dried blueberries.
  5. Scoop the dough into two tablespoon-sized mounds and place eight of them on each baking sheet. You might consider smashing the dough balls down with a cup. Bake the cookies for 11-13 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack. Eat.
